My teaching philosophy is grounded in student-centered, project-based learning that connects conceptual thinking to real-world application. I structure studio experiences around a clear design process that consists of research, ideation, production, critique, and refinement. The idea is that students develop both technical skill and critical thinking. I emphasize viewer-centered design decisions, helping students understand the psychological and communicative impact of their work. Through constructive critique and reflective practice, I foster a growth mindset that encourages resilience, adaptability, and continuous improvement, readying students for the career field.
